The Company
Cellbox Studios was founded in May 2004, with the goal of providing quality and functional design to enterprises without the high cost involved. Dealing mainly in web design, Cellbox Studios has further expanded their services to include print and multi-media.
The rebirth of Cellbox Studios in July 2006 as a private limited company, will bring with it a new vision and philosophy. We aim to play a larger role in the design industry with our direction to push the limits of technology and to explore the vast potential of innovative internet solutions.
November 2007 has seen Cellbox Studios team up with CIK Media to develop a media intensive and innovative website, Fed by Freddo, allowing anyone to view recipes online and be able to watch cooking segments for those recipes on demand.
In January 2008 Cellbox Studios in conjunction with Pressplay Creations created a custom auction site for the benefit of Bolt Blowers, an event which raises awareness for mental illnesses such as bi-polar and funds for charities such as One in Five. The auction site differs from more widely known auction sites such as ebay by keeping it more personal and interactive with a virtual auctioneer. Bidders enter ‘bidding rooms’ allowing them to view their competition and bid against them in real time.
