5 ways to get the most out of our services.
Projects don't always go as planned, but there are things you can do to help the process along.
1. Think
about the purpose of your website
What do you want your website to do? Attract new customers, or reward your loyal clients? Do want to provide information, or sell products online?
- Provide information
- Sell your products online
- Promote your services
- Entertain
2. Research
websites and styles that you like
Make a list of websites you like. What specifically did you like about them? The colours, pictures? Or did you just like how the menu pops out? Don't be afraid to tell us what you don't want, too. And if you have any ideas of your own, let us know. Not all ideas may be particularly suited to your solution, but once we recognize the essence of what you try to convey, we will always try to incorporate it into your project.
3. Prepare
all your information and content material
Having your information and content from the start gives us a better idea of how best to work your solution. It also means fewer revisions later. If you have an existing brand or corporate identity, it's important to ensure that we have all the necessary information to keep your style consistent. Make sure you can provide us with:
- Corporate colours
- Logo - as a high resolution Illustrator (.AI) file
- Font(s) - that you have used in your logo or any previous design work
- High Resolution Images/Photographs/Diagrams
- Written Copy - the text that will fill your content
*If you are unsure of any of these items, ask the designer who originally designed your corporate identity.
4. Plan Ahead
and schedule deadlines
Good things take time. A well planned schedule can be the difference between an acceptable project and the perfect solution. Work with your project manager to plan a reasonable schedule, including deadlines and feedback stages. If a date is unrealistic, we'll let you know. Things don't happen overnight, but with proper notice we can make sure things are ready for you when you need them.
5. Pay
promptly
Your payments not only feed our hardworking staff, but they also pay for your stock photography and pre-printing costs. Paying on time means a happy and hardworking team, we can avoid unnecessary delays and your project keeps moving forward.
