Flash sites are popular as a creative, dynamic and interesting way of presenting information. With the ability to add animation, sound and video these extra elements can help a website stand out from the rest. A flash site is also mostly self contained, meaning that almost everyone in the world, no matter the type of internet connection will be able to view the site with relative ease. A full flash site isn't for everyone though - be sure to check out our article Flash vs Static vs Hybrid for our reasons why.
Their Challenge
George Kamikawa is a musical busker widely recognised in the streets of Melbourne as the Japanese Blues cowboy. Having won awards and receiving critical acclaim George decided it was time to take his music to the internet and the rest of the world.
Our Solutions
Being in a creative industry, a flash site was the perfect way to show off George's talents. We were able to add samples of his music to the site so visitors can listen and discover the tunes for themselves. Some animated features, including a pop out menu and the photo gallery, add a sense of fun and style much like George's own!
